(1) In accordance with Section 7 of the Act, when the victim requests information related to the investigation, he/she shall submit an application to the investigating officer or the head of the investigating agency in the format as per Schedule-1.
(2) If an application is received in accordance with sub-rule (1), the investigating officer or the head of the investigating agency shall give information as soon as possible in the format as per schedule-2 on the matter for which information is requested.
(3) Regardless of what is written in sub-rule (2), if it is not possible to give notice according to sub-section :(2) of section 7 of the Act, the information of the same incident shall be given to the victim within seven days from the date of requesting the notice in the format as per Schedule-3.
